301. Section modules

1. The section modules of transverse deck girders is not to be less than obtained from the formula:

ᾎ = Distance between the centres of two adjacent girders or bulkheads (m)

h = Deck load specified in Ch 10, Sec 2 (kN/m2)

l = Distance between the supports of transverses (m)

The thickness of web plates is to be in accordance with the requirements in 202.
