Dynamic Positioning Systems

Dynamic positioning systems, when used to maintain the vessel’s position during installation, main- tenance, and repair operations, are to comply with the requirements for the class notation DPS(2) or DPS(3) in accordance with Pt 9, Ch 4 of Rules for the Classification of Steel Ships.
