Standardization plan

The Product Standardization Project is a national initiative with the goal of presenting a systematic platform for increasing capability and efficiency in marine industries and companies that is being implemented by the marine Industries technology development council of Presidential Deputy for Science and Technology Agency.in this initiative, fielded and executed by ICS, producers and service providers in marine and off-shore fields, in order to gain entry to the industry’s market or commercialisation or increasing the field of activity locally and internationally, utilizing facilities and monetary credits made available by Presidential Deputy for Science and Technology set forth to standardise products and services under supervision and evaluation of Iranian Classification Society (ICS). These facilities and supports will be diverse and variable according the available projects, products or services and includes monetary considerations. The envisioned outcome of this initiative is to complete the cycle of finance and procurement for domestic products and services and achieving the quality level and standards necessary to assure consumers and customers.
